My father, Albert Howard, grew up poor in Knoxville. As a child he roamed Knoxville with the other street kids and had many experiences in the areas where I now live. Some of the areas discussed are Ft. Sanders, Old North Knoxville, Downtown Knoxville, Cecil Ave., Grand Ave. and others.
