Etowah, TN - Gem Players recite the Declaration of Independence Episode 5 - So long Everybodyfields.

Here is a recording of one of the songs from an Everybodys show in 2008 on http://www.hearya.com/ - not too long ago the Everybodyfields called it quits. I loved their music but for now, Sam Quinn is putting out a new CD just any day now - look forward to it at http://www.sambquinn.com/ - his former songwriting partner Jill Andrews has a CD as well. You can check her out at http://www.jillandrews.com/site/ I hear Sam's new CD is exquisitely heartbreaking. He "kinda" talks about it in a Ramseur Records video at Vimeo: http://vimeo.com/9912402 Knoxville - My Dad's Hometown

My father, Albert Howard, grew up poor in Knoxville. As a child he roamed Knoxville with the other street kids and had many experiences in the areas where I now live. Some of the areas discussed are Ft. Sanders, Old North Knoxville, Downtown Knoxville, Cecil Ave., Grand Ave. and others. Music by:
Randall Brown
Theme music by Chris Cummings
Incidental music by the artists who performed them live. 2007 Live Music Wrap-Up Show

This week I'm doing a wrap-up of some the great shows that I attended this year - every weekend there is great music going on here in Knoxville, but these are just a few songs by bands that I went to see personally. Some of these recordings are from my own digital recorder that sat on the table next to me, others are studio recordings that were made by some of the bands I enjoyed this year.
